Was the Energizer bunny doing GP laps too? Wish he was there passing out AAA batteries because my rear blinkie was getting kinda weak by the time I got to Rosslyn.

Were those clowns on PA Ave? There is a giant pile of horse manure at 14th and PA. I believe most civilized countries make horses wear something to catch that so it doesn’t make a giant mess. I think we need to either adopt those, or switch the mounted police to bikes. Cheaper, cleaner, and they promote fitness.

Bikes don’t have exactly the same effectiveness with crowd control.

Hint about the pink fuzzy thing at Gravelly Point this morning: It can (just barely) be seen in a photo posted today by Two Wheels (and again by PeteD) in the Commuters/trail closing? thread. Somewhere in the photo there is a giant bright pink furry ________.

There was also a big pile of horse manure on the sidewalk along Ohio Drive/Tidal Basin yesterday, near Maine Ave., here: http://goo.gl/maps/QVf2f

I’ve said before that we need a federal pooper scooper law, to cover the Park Police. They leave those big piles of **** all the time.

Spotted the espresso train this morning…. Chris looked like he had consumed the perfect amount of Java with PeteD looking a little green behind…. too many shots Pete?

As you’ve seen by my cup at the Java Shack, I like a lot of coffee. It was more of trying to thaw out.

I think we spotted Hozn out on the W&OD as we were rolling up to Vienna.
