    12:45pm – Rod Smith maybe going west on I St NW, near Filter coffee.
    Then on my way home, I saw hozn just before the Brandymore Castle and then shortly afterwards Dickie, both going east on the W&OD.

    Yes, saw you too! Didn’t quite process until I was just passing you. Too bad I missed Dickie. Glad you’re all back to normal riding.

    Yeah I thought I saw a glint of recognition! At that particular point on the trail our speed difference was probably 35-45mph, so I barely managed a wave before you were gone. Definitely nice to be back!

    Well, the “maybe” was for “Rod Smith” not the westbound. I was 99% sure from the trailer but actually you were going quite fast, or at least you didn’t have any red lights to worry about. :)

    dbb this morning just before I hit zpp (ze poop plant)

    Great to see arlingtonrider, bikeeveryday, americancyclo, Steve O, Bilsko, etc. and Dirt (briefly) at the Original FCC today too.

    Well, I was looking out my office window and saw you making the turn from Wilson onto Lynn yesterday (after waiting for the light ;)).

    I think I saw dirt this morning at the bottom of the S curve. I motioned to be careful but then kind of recognized you, and you gave me a nod as if “I know what’s around the corner”. You were hauling a big sign about parking or something.

    You actually called your pass and went straight by me next to Shreve Rd. You might not have recognized me as I was on my dark green townie SS and moving at a snails pace. By the time I realized who it was you were just a blur on the horizon.

    Late Friday report. Saw Dirt Friday morning on the Custis. We were both going in the same direction to Friday Coffee Clubs at different locations. In the late afternoon, I saw Consularrider at TR Island. We were going in opposite directions to roughly the same location.
