Is that pic supposed to be showing 10,100 miles on the computer? Because if so, that’s cut off in the pic on my system. I think you’re just trying to show off your guns.
It looks like that was closer to 10,099. Picture designed to make the bike ladies swoon.
I was really trying to show off the awesome packing tape job I did on the frame.

I thought it was showing he was 2 minutes and 1 second late for work, but just didn’t care.

I was on time to work, but only because I had my start time moved to 9 so I could go to coffee club every morning.

Probably TMI, but I usually shave them in the summer to make sunscreen application easier. And so I’m totally aero.

ParticipantI liked Tuesday’s rainbow more than Thursday’s rain.

ParticipantMissed the rainbow earlier in the week so just had to enjoy the rain today. #7 on the Rosslyn counter. Getting closer.

ParticipantIt wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Assiduous studying of the radar maps and guessing when the next band would hit paid off.

So you were like me and were intentionally timing your ride to coincide with the heavy stuff, right?

ParticipantI enjoyed the lack of traffic on the CCT.

ParticipantWell, I did it again with breaking yet another bicycle part.
This morning, after putting a few of the new Freezing Saddles zipper pulls on my bike bag, I headed out into the cold. On the first hill climb, I started hearing a CLINK every few pedal strokes. I was in a low gear but switched to a lower gear just in case. About a minute later into the climb… SNAP!
I broke the chain clear off my bike!
Luckily, I was close to home, so I coasted back to my apartment, switched my lights, locks, bottle, and tools over to my backup commuter a.k.a. road bike, put my clip-in shoes on, headed back out, and finished my commute.
Oh, and the cherry on top was that the toaster at work was broken, so I had to use the manual function i.e. physically holding the lever down so it would actually heat up.
Komorebi, I think I want my money back on those FS zipper pulls. The ones you gave me are clearly cursed

ParticipantSounds like you stayed on your bike and didn’t go flying to the ground like always happens to me, so good job on that. Plus 1 for the Nite Ize spoke lights.

You keep breaking drive train parts….we need to hook you up with a power meter and see how much power you could supply to Pepco
