I don’t get why banning Class 3s (and above), knowing that will be hard to enforce, is somehow worse than banning all ebikes and knowing that will be equally hard to enforce.
Maybe because the former would require a crapton of effort while not working, while the latter would require very little while not working.

I didn’t realize that was legal in DC. Good to know.
The police don’t seem to know it either.

Does anyone know what those artistic fish decals they installed are made of and whether they are slippery or have grip. Two of them are located around curves, including one in the chicane at Eads road. Without knowing how much grip they have, I’m concerned about sliding out, particularly when it’s wet out.
They’re made out of bundles of cash, from what I heard.

Haha, whoops…I meant just “Chesterbrook” not “Old Chesterbrook.”
Then I’m going to guess Glebe to 41st. The straight, flat, and wide part with the best sight lines.

Noticed the new bike lane on Old Chesterbrook this morning (on my moto, ironically). For those that know the area, guesses on where it starts and stops?
Westmoreland to Longfellow? That is, the only wide part of the road.

ParticipantWe saw an entire herd of lime bikes in the wild yesterday, on the Anacostia River Trail just south of Kenilworth Gardens. There are a few CaBi stations near there already, but it’s still a promising development.

I got a flat this morning on the MVT after passing the airport, which could have been caused by glass (though my tires need replacing too). Thanks to Paula and Tony for the help.
And neither of them stopped you from the blatant rule 49 violation? For shame.

Silly…everyone knows that the Gallows bike lane is there to store all the gravel FFX puts on the road itself during the winter.
Don’t exaggerate. Not ALL the gravel — some of it is stored on sidewalks.

(I’m quite certain this thread was intended to be satire.)
And a seemingly earnest reply citing the supposed effect on others isn’t?

ParticipantYou should get a single earbud and spare your fellow trail users. There’s enough noise out there already.

And it happened again.
“Why are you asking?”
“Because you are sitting beside you bike.”
“What about sitting next to my bike makes you think I need help.?”
“Look I am just trying to be polite. “
Nooooope.
Yes. You’re being a crank.

ParticipantFor the sake of our eyes when using the preview page, here’s a pic of me fully clothed rolling down Maine.

Ugh, what a poser. Motorcyclists have only one enemy: Cagers*. Any energy and focus you waste yelling at non-cagers can’t be used to avoid actual threats.
*”cager” is a motorcyclist epithet for drivers, if that wasn’t obvious…
One perfect morning I was waiting at a light to turn left and a motorcyclist pulled up behind me and said, “They just don’t know what they’re missing, do they?” Good times.

To the OP, taking home for dry cleaning you could fit 3-4 suits with jackets easily. Bringing them in I’ve taken 2 at a time with jackets.

On my way in, riding down Eads St, I witnessed KNOWN MONSTER Steve-O as he sweepsplained a poor streetsweeper. I did not stick around, so said streetsweeper may have swept said street with Steve-O.
Did you just admit to going around Arlington Ridge? Slacker.
