ParticipantReviving a very old thread…. anyone have deets on bike commuter facilities at Dept of Commerce? Is there bike parking under the Reagan Building in that massive garage?
rcannon100
ParticipantAGH! Sorry REJI that is not a “dislike.” That is our archaic forum software which I cannot now undo. 😡
PS….. sorry, I am confused. What would be the point of a picture without our bikes in them???

ParticipantCalvinball reminders:
When you find a Calvinball, please post a comment to that hide’s threat clearly stating that you have found it. It really sucks to go on a pointless journey to find that which cannot be found
Remember that Calvinball is a Hot Potato Game, not a Hide-and-Seek game. The goal is to keep the ball moving and to be inclusive, allowing many pilgrims to play. State clearly (but certainly cleverly) where the ball is disposed. If your description is opaque (if people respond “I have no idea where that is”), the Dark Knight will visit you and whop you over the head with a chicken.
Hog-balls will be forced to watch those dreadful hogwarts movies over and over again.

Explanation: i mean… i really have none.
I did go by W&L high school to take a picture of their class of 2021 mural. It has not been updated since 2017. Have we really been under house arrest for that long????

Hi. I have a question about the things in the CB. Do I own them and fill the bottle with the new stuff for the next player/finder or hide the CB in the same condition as I found it? Thanks!
Not totally sure I understand the question but
The Calvinballs are currently two pink Bikenetic Water Bottles (CB1; CB2). (probably need to make one more different as its a bit confusing which is which)
But Calvinball is a crowdsourced game that changes (right now its pretty minimal but that may change). The Calvinball can be anything. It has been a very very large bell thing that REJI had to drag home. It can be a box. At one point it took on the form of an impossible bike.
People like to hide treasures in Calvinballs. Toys. Candy. Stickers. $100 bills. (it has recommended that we avoid the hard liquor less the calvinball gets found by a muggle) Sort of like geocaching, people will take out a little treasure; people will put in a little treasure.
Right now there are two Calvinballs. Sometimes there are more. Sometimes there are fewer.
Calvinball is taking place on the FS FB page. It has been FAR EASIER to track where the latest hides are. Each hide is a new post. When the Calvinball is found, the Freezer posts that the ball has been found so that people can be disappointed (not waste time looking for it).

Okay, let the bidding begin for my allegiance.
Team Slacker bids…. um…. lunch with the team captains (you’re paying).

ParticipantTeam Slacker challenges Team 69 to a Day One ride off. Team with the most miles on the first day wins. Let’s make this interesting. Humm. How about a bottle of Virginia Single Malt?

None of them are still in Germany though. Perhaps we should exclude NYC and Belgium though.

ParticipantWe now have a plethora of pointless games. Many are photo scavenger hunts. And Ricky’s in particular looks outrageous. At this point Notorious appears repetitive and derivative.
“From the discussions I have had with Congressional and other leaders, I have concluded that because of the Watergate matter I might not have the support of the Congress that I would consider necessary to back the very difficult decisions and carry out the duties of this office in the way the interests of the Nation would require. Therefore, I shall abandon the Notorious Game effective at noon tomorrow. “
I am not a crook!
