I did go by W&L high school to take a picture of their class of 2021 mural. It has not been updated since 2017. Have we really been under house arrest for that long????

I figured house numbers would be the safest bet, since they’re more permanent than any “2021” year signs. Not every street has a house with a 2021 address, but I found one just across I66 from home.

I started my ride with no real plan other than to just look for 2021. Even after taking careful note of house numbers, which never panned out for me, I finally found one on the NVCC campus.

Welcome to Freezing Saddles! I’ve managed to ride every day during freezing saddles the past six years. Part of my strategy is riding at some weird hours in order to avoid predicted weather in order to minimize bicycle maintenance.
