pedroczParticipantHi, all! I’m Pete Czapiewski, and this is my second year doing Freezing Saddles. I’m a retired engineer, and current bike mechanic. Most of my rides start in the early morning, before the wind picks up, and leaving from Alexandria/Fort Hunt VA. In addition to FS, I’m active in the National Capital Velo Club and Potomac Pedalers Touring Club, doing road, track, cyclocross, gravel, and mountain bike rides or races.

It’s just off of Quander Road in Alexandria, and is a fairly well detailed scale model of the house. The library even has a solar panel that powers a light in its attic. Very cool.
