merlinParticipantIndeed, thank you, fixed. Bugs best reported here: https://github.com/freezingsaddles/freezing-web/issues
The hover is h:m:s that grows to days h:m:s by the end.
merlinParticipantYou’ll get placed on a team in mid January; the date usually coincides with the opening happy hour. Team captains will contact everyone to get things sorted out. Communications on the Forum, Discord, Strava, or whatever folks decide. But you start riding on Jan 1, before the team assignments happen.

merlinParticipantWe’re just testing that everything is still working after a major Strava API upgrade, all will be wiped soon.
merlinParticipant@cvcalhoun I 100% don’t want to, but forum usage dropped to almost zero last year, and a lot of group rides didn’t get shared. There just isn’t a good mobile wordpress experience and that’s what most people use. We could spin up a Discord with just a few clicks and make a lot of people happy.
merlinParticipantI think at this point people expect something more like Discord. Discourse is another option. You can log in using your Google/other account, so don’t need an additional username/password. For a few $ we could spin up a hosted one for this year if we wanted, switch to self hosted next time.
merlinParticipantYour best bet right now is to use the wayback machine. But that’s a great idea for the site.
merlinParticipantIf it’s not super specific, I’d be much more inclined for it to go to mwaba, https://gomwaba.org/
merlinParticipantSo we didn’t get weather for about 5% of our rides, yours included, possibly because of privacy settings. However I’ve tweaked a thing, now that we know what to look for, and we’ve added a number of additional hours below freezing to the group total, so you should have weather for (some of) your rides! And yes, a 54ΒΊ coldest ride would have been a bit shameful.
merlinParticipantTemperature is not pulled from your ride, but from the weather station readings from your approximate ride GPS location and approximate time. These readings often don’t precisely match what you experience, but we’re a technology upgrade away from being able to pull head-unit temperature. If you log into the FS site, click your name in the top right and select My Rides, it lists every ride and the temperature. If you rode on 1/22 or thereabouts you should have a lower temperature recorded. Would need your Strava ID to diagnose any more (I’m Mrln π§ββοΈ).
merlinParticipantJust give it time, things will settle overnight.
merlinParticipant@bigredboiler some of the activities are “followers only” or otherwise restricted, but they’re all real activities. Have you followed Sophie? More of them might be visible then. The Strava UI is also not great for paging through these things, it would not surprise me if it gave an incomplete view.
merlinParticipantFreeze points?
(11*(ATAN((R.distance+4)-2*PI())+1.4)-2.66)*(1.2+ATAN((32-W.ride_temp_start)/5))
So rides above ~46F are negative.
merlinParticipantYou appear to have a ride on day 33 that took 7 days. We can’t see the activity, but if you look in Strava, what does it show under “Elapsed Time”?

Can you use the Split activity (shows elapsed time) or Crop activity to remove the extra time?

merlinParticipant
πͺ
merlinParticipantI’ve been thinking of a “your stats” module on the website (if folks actually check the site). It could count the # days you haven’t ridden and have a warning bar for low riders, along with the more positive stats.
