And we should get orange cone-shaped helmets.

ParticipantThe REALLY crucial issue here is that I have discovered that there are pink skully socks that match my Twin Six jersey even BETTER than the pink skully socks I already got to match my Twin Six jersey, so now I have to get NEW pink Twin Six skully socks to match my Twin Six jersey. HAVE TO. Also, they are on sale today.
WHY IS LIFE SO HARD?
This message brought to you by Twin Six.
(Srsly, I should get some free socks or something for all that product placement!)KelOnWheels
ParticipantJust saw a group roll down Columbia toward 18th towing a trailer blasting the Beasties. Looked like a fun ride

I’m all for Crystal City! Jaleo can be a bit expensive and maybe too fancy as well. But maybe some place like the Tortoise and Hare, or Frankies (gay bar = fun) on 23rd street would be better options?
Oo, going for the big guns eh?
(renting that from Amazon RIGHT NOW)
Freddie’s on 23rd? They’re fun and have decent food as I remember

Absolutely! But you will be sent a tax bill from the Arlington Treasurer since you will henceforth be classified as an honorary Arlingtonian; kinda like having dual citizenship.
Well that’s all right, I do live on the border so I should probably have some sort of visa.
Does this mean I have to get brown flip flops?

ParticipantI’d quite like a forum jersey
Can an Alexandrian wear a Bike Arlington jersey or will I be hunted down by roadies in snobby Lycra and flung into the Potomac?

What about one HH generally South (Shirlington/CC), one generally West (Rosslyn/Clarendon/Ballston/FC), one central/SW (Foggy Bottom, Gtown, Rosslyn) and the final central/NE (Columbia Heights, Capital Hill, all those places that are too cool for me to know about?
That makes sense, then we’ve got one centrally located and one for each major commuting direction
The beer garden at Standard (14th & S) is fun and has bike parking, though staking out tables could be tough. We could all roll in in our matching jerseys and give the hipsters The Look (or maybe just some Blue Steel).

ParticipantLet’s do it! I’ve done a bit of wiki modding, shouldn’t be too hard to set up.

ParticipantI have it on excellent authority that a cyclist was observed plucking it from the path and hurling it to a place of safety behind some of the jersey barriers on the lawn.
Save the cones!
Did you notice the fancy new paint job they did on all the jersey barriers?

Are those the salmons all the kids are talking about? Yes, I do need some of those. What did you pay?
I’ve got one set of the Supra2 in salmon and one set of the dual compound mountain pads. Got em off Amazon Prime, think they were $11 and $13. Or, y’know, a couple of ciders.

I don’t believe so, but I own the DVD and you’re welcome to borrow it. I can bring it to the next HH if you like.
Thanks!
Amazon has it for $8.21 right now, maybe I’ll grab a copy
I ordered the wrong brake pads so I need to do another order anyway (anybody need some threaded Kool Stop pads?)
