KeymasterHey, Team. I was out of the country for a week with no data service. So even if I did ride (which I didn’t) it wouldn’t have counted. Anyway I’m back home and back in the saddle, ready to rack up some point for Team Crank It to 11! Even took the long way to work today.
Let’s get back in the top 10.

I like the turn the dial up to 11 idea. Oh, “Crank it up to 11.”
I was toying with references to 121 (Team 11 x 11 members) like Bacardi 121 but Crank It Up To 11 is much better and gets my vote.

KeymasterMost of the public racks are on P Street, between 22nd and Dupont Circle. Try the handy Rackspotter App to learn where.

For bike parking
[*]Set up bike racks across 22nd Street in the triangular space next to the Taras Shevchenko statueThis makes the most sense.

KeymasterFYI, NBC-4 did a piece on the enforcement effort:

KeymasterThe enforcement event at Lee and Edison was focused on Ped safety, targeting cars/drivers for failing to yield to peds in the crosswalk. I talked to Lt. Dennis after the event and he said several tickets were issued, all to driver.

It couldn’t have been those guys. Too many helmets. Though I can see why you’d suspect them.

KeymasterAgreed. Take the Pike all the way, just be careful making the right from CP to Joyce, especially if pavement is wet. The Orme to Joyce section should be very lightly traveled at 7am on a Saturday.

Clarendon Blvd, heading to Rosslyn just past Pierce. Big white federal employee bus, half pulls into parking space leaving back end in bike lane. Practicaly every AM rush.
Here’s my evidence from this AM’s commute:

Granted, the bus is way too big for the space allotted for pick-ups, but we see what gets the short (or back) end.
