Dirt
ParticipantFixed. Arlington trimmed a bunch of stuff.
Dirt
ParticipantNah. Arlington County folks are to thank. They know I’m just a blowhard.
Dirt
ParticipantSir, no sir. I just had meetings until 0730 and didn’t have time to post up until they were complete. My most sincere apologies for the lateness of my posting.
Dirt
ParticipantThank you sir. I’ll make sure the buckets are empty so there’s no temptation for hyjinx.
Thank you sir.
Dirt
ParticipantThe little pond is on the right side of the trail just out of the frame of the photo.
Dirt
ParticipantProbably half mile west of Lyon Village Shopping Center.
Dirt
ParticipantIt isn’t a big threat now, but if there’s a lot of erosion under there, it is gonna get bigger.
Well maybe not that big.
Dirt
ParticipantReported to the phone number listed in the sticky at the top of this forum.
Dirt
ParticipantI guess that makes it official.
Dirt
ParticipantI think you’re right, though I too have forgotten to check. There are much better places for toilets than that intersection.

ParticipantKinda crappy photo, but here you go…
As I’m heading toward DC on the Custis trail there’s a short climb after going under Lincoln St. The low branch is on the downhill side of that little climb.

ParticipantThe dummy is so long and stable that it takes a long time (as much as an hour) to really get comfortable riding the Cervelo. It is definitely a weird feeling with the legs too. The combination of applying serious pedal force (expecting it to accelerate like the Dummy) with the Rotor chainrings actually has me lifting the front wheel on moderate climbs. It took me until mile 25 or 30 before I felt like I was pedaling smoothly.
Dirt
ParticipantThey usually put one at Roosevelt Island parking lot. There’s a bathroom at Bluemont and also on the 4-mile Run trail branch before you get to Columbia Pike.
Dirt
ParticipantNope. We were on Skyline two weeks ago. This week we did the Bluemont loop up past Mount Weather. Seriously nice climbing. Next weekend is easy to taper a bit before a huge weekend the 12-13.
