ParticipantA feast for the art lovers today. We rode down in Manassas. My submission photo (hashtagged for Strava) was the sculpture of the children playing. But … that was just the tip of the iceberg.
There were three “LOVE” signs, two little trains that had been embellished with painting (kinda like the panda series years ago in DC) and a church steeple that was just lovely. It doesn’t look as glowing in the photo as it did to my eyes, but still, pretty. So … here are just some of the photos.

ParticipantNo mosaics at Mosaic but plenty of public art murals. You should check it out. This is just a ‘taste’… although now I’m asking myself – what’s a mural and what’s a cool paint scheme?

Participant#PublicArtFinder – Unexpected find next the Broome Athletic Park sign I was taking a photo of: Map of Rockville by Steve Weitzman. Couldn’t see much of this because of the melted snow and leaves. More details can be found here: https://www.weitzmanstudios.com/portfolio_page/rockville/

Now, while this submission surely defines the meaning of art being in the eye [emoji872] of the beholder, it has been referred to the faceless cabal to verify its eligibility
