ParticipantCrystal City Water Park always has the LED icicles going, which are fun and soothing to watch.
They have added this enormous boombox called “Turn on the Love.” It was silent tonight, but last week at about 1:30am on Dec. 26 it was playing some peppy holiday music.

BTW – right next to this is the Peruvian Brothers food stand, ripe for a Quaxapalooza (or whatever it’s called). They were open this evening about 6 when I took these photos.

These are in Crystal City. I suppose one could claim two, but since they are side by side, I’ll just call it one
No supposing allowed, and I’ll do my own accounting for my prize, thank you

ParticipantLocated on the 1st St wall at the intersection with Kent Ave in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s recently been defaced, obscuring more of the vulture. Before COVID there was an active business.

This is a mural representing what Dupont Circle used to look like. It’s one of my favorites and reminds me of Shakespeare’s, “All the world’s a stage.” Sadly the parking lot is fenced so you can’t admire the mural in its full glory.
