It doesn’t look like you registered for the competition. Registration is at this link. That will also walk you through all the steps.

With regard to Strava, you have joined the Strava group. However, to appear on the Freezing Saddles list of people, you will need to authorize Freezing Saddles to read your miles. That can be done at this link.

Because a lot of the reindeer games and the official communications for Freezing Saddles occur here, on this forum. Freezing Saddles is, as originally created, a competition of this forum.
By posting it shows you are a member of the forum and are, at least minimally, capable of using it.

Making my one introductory post for freezing saddles purposes.

This is my first time successfully getting both my strava and my forum membership together in time to register for freezing saddles.

I am the 2019-2020 WABA Super Volunteer (volunteer of the year)
2021-present- LCI with League of American Bicyclists (mostly teaching through WABA but also leading some classes with Erin Palmer for woman/femme/nonbinary ANC commissioners and candidates)
2020-present Bike Lane Uprising DC Street Team (bike light giveaways to cyclists without lights)
2021-2022 Erin Palmer for DC Council Chair asst treasurer
effective January 2023- Ward 3 Dem Party precinct delegate

Hi friends! My name is Alyssa, and it’s my first year actually being organized enough to get on the freezing saddles train. I run Radical Joy Riding here in DC (bikes are for everybody!) and help organize DC Bike Party. I’m also certified as a League Cycling Instructor! I’ve been in DC for just over two years– I grew up in the bay area and spent about 5 years wrenching on bikes and doing community organizing in Minneapolis before making my way to the east coast. In the very small amount of time I’m not doing bike stuff, I’m cooking, rock climbing, cross stitching, drinking fancy coffee, grabbing a beer at Lyman’s, or hanging out with my cats (and my husband). But honestly, it’s mostly bike stuff.
