yes, ok ok, I’m whoring myself out for them. I already have 1, but it’s not enough. I seriously need to get one for my road bike too.

I’ve read some pretty good reviews. Sounds like you’ve been pleased with yours.
Do you spend a lot of time on any other type of saddle?August 9, 2012 at 2:20 pm #948204vvill
ParticipantI have a regular Selle Anatomica (Titanico, not the X). Heavy, and expensive but very comfortable for me, and I specifically wanted something with a cut-out. I had it on my hybrid for a bit. I have since shuffled it off, but it could make a comeback anytime. Like anytime I get a Civia Bryant or Spot Acme or Norco Ceres (set up with drops of course).
http://www.joe-bike.com/commuter-bikes/norco/ 11 speed Alfine with carbon belt drive, dropbar+shifters, BB7 disc brakes, front dynohub. 😎
Of course, Alfine 11 Di2 is out now too…

ParticipantI love that Norco. Nice bike.
Not a bad deal the way they have it set up. 11 speed Alfine with drop bars and generator lights for $2200.

Indeed! Hopefully in a few more years these lovely commuter specific builds will become more widespread and cheaper (and less steal-worthy). And lighter.

When you consider that going to a bike shop and buying the Versa shifter and Alfine 11 rear hub alone would cost you over $1000, that bike is actually a steal.
I’d also add that anything that you’re going to leave locked up somewhere would best be simple, look crappy and have a GREAT lock…. and also be something that you don’t mind parting with.

ParticipantAnd now I move on to coveting bicycle lights. Rear lights, no less:

ParticipantVERY IMPORTANT QUESTION:
Do I need this? Because I kinda think I do.
