ParticipantYou just need to find the few who know where all the windtraps are, before they change the face of Arakkis.

ParticipantAnyone ever seen a Sparse light? Successful Kickstarter, now they’re selling lights from their website. I’ve been looking for something pretty enough to put on the Pinarello.

Q. So they lights don’t come off the bike? A. True. Once you’ve installed the lights, it is as if they are a piece of the bike. It takes tools to get them off. We think this is in-total waaaaaaaaaaaay less hassle than stripping the lights every time you park the bike.
Dealbreaker.

I was thinking that, but my bike storage spot is right by an outlet, so I could just get a USB adapter and a long cable and just plug the bike in when I get home like an electric car or something. I just found that the Bike Rack is a dealer, so maybe I’ll check it out on the way home.

My bikes don’t live near power, and they can’t make it through the metal detectors at work, so they’re not ideal for my situation, but if you have the resources to plug the bike in over night, sounds like it would be great! I’m curious about their size too. the rear one looks a bit big.

ParticipantThe charge is designed to last a minimum of 4 hours – enough to get you to and from work for a week.
Really? Most people have a 25 minute (or less) commute?
Edit to add: Better put, most people spend less than an hour a day on the bike? I feel sorry for them.

ParticipantI think the giveaway that it’s a first world problem is 1) purpose-built bike for a child and 2) pneumatic tires
