$20 for bike wash? What’s next? $40 for a pint of elbow grease with 4% off on a can of can-do spirit?

I don’t know…it’s nice, but I think it loses on price points.

ParticipantI’ve found that since I’ve gotten these, people have seen me even if they haven’t been looking out for me:

The problem with the outdoor riding in winter is more the lack of light than the cold. I hate being out with traffic in the dark, even lit up like a Christmas tree. It’s okay downtown for my commute, which is mostly bike lanes and slower streets. But further out (especially east of the river) I worry people aren’t looking out for you. And don’t even get me started on the ninja runners. The ART is ten kinds of dark in places and no one uses lights.

Anyone use heated grips? There seem to be a few options for MTBs, and these for road bars…

It doesn’t seem like something I would bother with when Bar Mitts are a fifth of the price and probably do a better job of keeping your whole hand warm.

ParticipantPut a Brooks saddle on that for God sakes. Is this really a British company?! Those lines remind me of Rob’s TT bike he made last year. Believe it was at NHABS.
