I always like seeing more quality kids’ bikes. I’m not sold on drop bars for that size (I’d expect it to be a nightmare to keep up the fit), I’m not sure about the front der (in my experience kids have enough trouble at that age handling just a rear shifter), and I’m really not sure about giving bar end shifters to a 6 year old. I do really like seeing a good bike with no fake shock.

ParticipantI’m not going to say I covet these, as they’re not really my style. But they’re something that I could definitely see others coveting high heels with pedal clips.

Yup, they build the bikes for CaBi and CitiBike too, as well as the London bikeshare I think.
Hopefully CaBi and CitiBike have what they need, Minnesota says BiXi is in material breach (so is that a Bixi issue or a Devinici issue):

I want these real bad.
Apparently the first run is sized large, for anybody that’s interested. I emailed and they told me to order a small. (I’ve got a 41″ hip and wear medium in PI, Zoic, and Club Ride).

Anyone out there have the men’s version and can comment on how “water resistant” and comfortable they are?
Kel, I don’t suppose they mentioned the word “sale” being applied to them any time soon? They are rather expensive.

They’re brand new so I doubt they’ll go on sale anytime soon, but if they do I’ll send out the bat signal

I just got a pair at half price from Competitivecyclist.com. They run small, and I haven’t worn mine yet.

ParticipantCarbon fiber balance bikes for your tot? Seems totally reasonable but, to get more aero, should probably be upgraded with a set of Enve wheels.
