As another woodworker, I completely agree. I think I posted them earlier in the thread, actually. They are absolutely lovely frames.

ParticipantAnd if anyone gives you crap about riding a wood bike, you can just say “wood is the original carbon fiber”.

Ok, from their anniversary and Demo sale for me: the Elwood 54 frame in curly maple for $2600 or the R3 in walnut for $2800.

Sorry Jabberwocky to steal your covet, I figured someone must have posted about these but didn’t have the ambition to wade back through the entire thread. Are you a woodworker by trade/profession?

I Like it… I am thinking if I ever pull the trigger and actually buy one of these my retort to any insults will be head butting the offender with my matching wood helmet.

Oooh, tough call, but I think the Elwood wood combinations are prettier. I wish I could convince the wife to let me purchase the R3 56 complete bike in Curly maple… it can be a business right off right?

Just stencil in you shop’s logo on the downtube instead of Renovo and you’re all set – your outdoor billboard advertising expense.

No problem, I’m just happy to see them again.
If I had disposable income, I’d have one just because they are so lovely.
I’m an architect by profession; my dad is a very dedicated hobbiest woodworker with an extremely nice shop, so I grew up woodworking and still build most of my furniture.

That’s getting pretty close to a wooden y-foil.
