Think of all the weight you could save by grinding off those skulls!

Whatever you do, keep that thing away from Dirt — he wouldn’t have any fingers left at all!

ParticipantSince yesterday’s covet was flaming skull & cross-bones related, today I’ll go for something a little softer:
Coming out next Feb/March from PDW, is the Swallow shaped bottle cage: http://bikeportland.org/2012/09/26/with-new-products-portland-design-works-is-hitting-their-stride-77958
PDW is definitely on a roll lately with some really good looking gear slated to come out over the next few months. The all-metal fenders look gooooooooood.

ParticipantTwo fun things to covet in a rather “odd” stable of bikes: Why? Because they just are so far outside the norm…
A full suspension offroad ready recumbent:

The tires on the moonlander are an OBSCENE 4.7″ wide… mwhahaha… I love that! It’s just stupid… which makes it worth coveting.

It’s not stupid, it’s very practical in this region. You could go down the steps of congress, or the washington monument.

ParticipantExcellent point!
This is the most trek-ready moonlander I’ve seen equipped. Gnarly! http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m3ypauw3nT1qdxjrfo1_1280.png

That front hub’s output? Evidently measured in Jigawatts.

ParticipantNeck Romancer? My kid would want that just for the Hobbit reference.

What’s that you say? Is that a single piece stem+handlebar? Why yes, yes it is.

I guess this idea has already been tried: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/23/Will_Robertson_of_the_Washington_Bicycle_Club_riding_an_American_Star_Bicycle_down_the_steps_of_the_United_States_Capitol_in_1885.jpeg/386px-Will_Robertson_of_the_Washington_Bicycle_Club_riding_an_American_Star_Bicycle_down_the_steps_of_the_United_States_Capitol_in_1885.jpeg
