ParticipantBelated 3/01 – I found this #treat on 15th street NW DC, which looks new, but I have no idea what it is. Whomever can identify it can have it!

Participant@bikingjenn your 2/21 post on reuniting the lost license #treat and making a new friend is the best story yet, is the epitome of what this game is all about, and merits sufficient bonus angel points that catapult you to the top of the #treat leaderboard (as soon as I figure that all out;-).

ParticipantRule Clarification:
The intent of #treat is the unintentional “lost and found” element of things in the street, not trash or litter.
Trash, litter or garbage intentionally discarded at the curb or purposely tossed on the street do not qualify … with the exception of items that are put back into use or up cycled by you. Pro tip: suspect postings are subject to an arbitrary review by the faceless cabal.

Participant@nadine your 2/27 post doesn’t qualify as curbside trash doesn’t count … unless you take it, put it back in use and defer its demise to a landfill.

Participant@bikingjenn did you take the ribbon 🎀 you found and put it back into use? Or just leave it where you found it? The former counts; the later not!

Participant@nadine did you take and reuse the rubber band from 3/01? If yes, then it counts; if not, then it doesn’t.

Participant@sophie your 2/20 post of the broken broom could be intentionally discarded trash; did you salvage the intact broom handle by any chance? If not, then it’ll merit 1/2 point. Please see rule clarification on the intent of #treats for future posts. Thanks for playing.

Participant@laurie your 2/21 post of up-cycling the hair scrunchie to hold your spare inner tube perfectly captures the spirit of #treats extra points!;-)

Participant@consularrider is your bike discernably in that 2/21 pic? Did you put that bow back into use or just run it over?
March 2, 2024 at 10:30 am #1133198Boomer Cycles
Participant@nadine re your 2/22 post, sorry but it doesn’t qualify. Please see rules about bike-in-the-pic, updated “lost and found” definition: intentionally discarded trash is not “lost” and therefore cannot be “found”. However if you took it home on your bike (in the pic) and put it back into use or up-cycled it, then it could count. Thanks for playing.

Participant3/3/24 glove
Ok this definitely counts. Found a glove on the Custis trail. Maybe I shoulda picked it up for @SteveO – but I picked it up & left out on this post base in case whoever lost it comes looking for it.
It’s a really warm day so I could imagine it falling out of a pocket, having been removed cuz warm

Participant#treats – 3/3/2024 – faceless CABAL, the Gatorade bottle was refilled, I don’t know what with. Should I remove it? Hashtag removed from 2/21, got the car rather than the bike tire
