I could write a long, long story of how I didn’t get to ride this morning. I didn’t want to ride tonight, so I stopped in the middle of my journey back from New Jersey and did circles at the Molly Pitcher rest stop on the New Jersey Turnpike. 117 miles with 10 mysterious exits.

They must have water, so here is the ginormous water tank on the NJ Turnpike!

I don’t know if this is the mailing address or the actual office that sees people. But the point is almost every comment on google is people confused about the mailing address and complaining about renewing their Green Card. Most reviewers gave 1 star, but a few gave 4 and then proceeded to complain (so they probably gave 4 to get attention from Immigration).

I need to head out there again some day. I was just watching Adam Savage’s video on the “restoration” of the Star Wars X-wing Fighter. Not sure if it’s displayed yet. The hardest part was figuring out what kind of reinforcement it might need to hang it, since the prop was made just for the ground.

1/25/23 Opposite Day. Suddenly, today, he’s my favorite President of all time! I’m full of all the good feels and thoughts about him and Ayn Rand. Is the architecture at 1300 PA Ave reminiscent of the modernist style featured in The Fountainhead film? Doesn’t matter, it’s Opposite Day and Rand had to pretend the style was unpopular and frowned upon when in reality it was all the rage in the 40s. It’s Opposite Day!
