ParticipantNice riding with David B (from our bestest super awesomest Team 13) on 4MR and WOD this evening until he dropped me!

ParticipantJust to confirm to our Assignment Overlords that all 13 team members are now signed up on the Team 13 Strava team. So we are good. Should you run across another 350km a week substitute, we will consider accepting them into our team, of course…

ParticipantDon’t tax your delicate system. Ride less.
Why not take this Monday off, to recuperate from all that climbing.
We worry about your well-being…
Powerful Pete
ParticipantNo idea in terms of number of team members – I thought all teams had more or less the same membership – it could be that some have not “signed up” their Strava and/or joined their Strava Team?
Will add your proposed team name to the list…

ParticipantFantastic riding folks, we are moving up!
I will try to post an on-line survey with the choice of team names, to make things as participatory as possible.
Great work! 😎

ParticipantBoth of you start planning for a South American BAFS 2017 vacation. I can promise excellent weather (summer, actually), wonderful food and good booze.

ParticipantGood morning folks. I have to cancel this AM – apparently I did not get the memo referring to family duties this morning. I must apologize. I will be riding some time this afternoon… 😡

ParticipantYou are all aware of Boomer’s physical ailments, aren’t you?
Please keep an eye on him and don’t let him ride in the cold. His poor, debilitated circulatory system can’t handle the damp weather and it affects his extremities.

ParticipantIf I could, I would quadruple ELITE your suggestion bruzasd.
And thanks to ian74 for getting the Biblical ball rolling…

ParticipantExcellent suggestions. Let’s give it until the end of the weekend then I will set up a poll for voting on the different names.
In the meantime, whatever you do, beware of that Boomer fellow. Above all, do not be seen in public with him – it is bad for your reputation. If you happen to see him riding, do the Washington DC area cyclists a favor and try to disable his velocipede.

ParticipantDamp and foggy this morning, felt colder than it was… now I have to clean my bike…

ParticipantHey TEAM 13, if anyone is up for a team ride tomorrow, I was thinking of something nice and easy, either heading out on the WOD or towards Mt. Vernon. If we opt for the latter those who are interested could then opt for a few HP laps to complete their January Strava Gran Fondo challenge.
The idea is to have a social, no-drop ride involving coffee and pastries (ergo, motivation). Proposed meeting place: Best Buns Shirlington @ 10 (it is the weekend, after all).
By all means make other suggestions if these do not appeal… remember, you are in the capable hands of an Italian organizer…

ParticipantAnother heartfelt thank you to those who organized tonight’s HH, those who volunteered to organize the teams and all the bits and pieces that go into setting BAFS up, and those who spent some time outside looking after the bikes.

ParticipantExcellent. For some reason I thought about calling out to you… about 2 km later down the trail. Oh well. Remember my orange helmet!
And the “t-shirt-knee-bulge” is now in my top 10 funniest commuting stories…

ParticipantRode in the opposite direction to wheels & wings this morning (on 15th Street, right by W&L High School). I nodded but doubt I was recognizable given that I was wearing every single article of cycling related clothing I own!
