It does not appear that one need be a resident of Bluemont to participate in the survey. Or at least there does not appear to be any way they could tell otherwise if one were not.
Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.

ParticipantThe way forward is simple and self-evident. Thunderdome.

ParticipantIt was fun. And, I take running into you just as I hopped onto the trail as a sign from God that I’m supposed to go get a righteous kayak.

ParticipantKnew I should have ridden the bike with the basket up front…

ParticipantThat’s just hurtful, dbb. You know I’d be so distracted by the choices that I’d never actually get anywhere.

ParticipantKayakCyndi kicked my butt on the way in this morning.

ParticipantIn order of appearance.
You – fellow fixie rider who hopped onto the Custis east-bound just before me from Abingdon around 0620.
Me – really enjoyed the pace.
You – lady in the sweet green Jeep heading up 17th near Constitution.
Me – really appreciated the quick friendly conversation and that you let me go first when the light changed. Pretty sure I also heard a “you go, boy” and that was just plain icing on the cake.
Y’all got my morning off to a great start.March 25, 2015 at 5:40 pm in reply to: Article: Why biking to work is a barrier for most Americans #1026764OneEighth
ParticipantI just wanna know what it’s gonna take for y’all to finally get that it’s my road, my sidewalk, and my MUP.

We should definitely do this fixed, say Sat 3/28? (sorry out of town this weekend)
I’m your huckleberry.

ParticipantSweet shot, dbb.

ParticipantOkay, so there was nothing elegant about how I crossed either of the bridges by National. Steered with my left and draped my right arm over the railing the entire way to ensure no snow angels.
It was good except where it wasn’t…OneEighth
ParticipantIf you’re bored, dbb, ride the MVT (but in that case probably best to hold onto the studded 35s.).
Actually, most of the MVT from the 14th Street bridge to 4MR was okay if you can hold a line reasonably well. As was the W&OD from Shirlington to the Custis…except where it wasn’t… And those spots abraided my fixie zen. -
