I didn’t know him but what sad news. I am sorry for this loss to the local bike community and so sorry for his friends and family.

I just bought a Swytch kit to convert my hybrid. Super excited. I use my bike more for transportation than exercise these days so it’ll be nice to have some help on those hills. I feel like a conversion kit is better for me than spending $$ on another bike. Plus, if I just want to use my bike as a regular bike I don’t have to use the battery at all. I think ebikes are great. I wish they were more affordable so more people could enjoy them. I feel like they make biking accessible to more people.
