I rode from the Shitlington Connector north Past National Airport to the 14th street bridge. There are a few branches down and one freaking hell of a head wind, but other than that it wasn’t bad. I cleared off all but one of the branches.
Typo? Because if it is then my laughter was for naught.

ParticipantI want this so badly. I shouldn’t complain since I have someplace inside to store bikes, but dragging it out of the basement isn’t easy.

ParticipantI completely wrote this ride off since I thought Oct 20th had already happened. I’ll probably make the same mistake tomorrow. Staying up late on weekends isn’t for me anymore.

ParticipantOh great, now we’ll see Dirt riding across the 14th St Bridge on top of the fence.

Oops! Sorry. Didnt mean to say “Whoa!”
Actually, wasnt me. I believe I did pass you about midspan on the bridge before you passed the doubled up joggers. I wasnt thinking any particularly clear thoughts other than something like “yikes, that’s gotta be tight.” Trailer was empty wasnt it?
Yarb, it was empty. My spirits fell when I saw all the oncoming traffic and I didn’t even notice who passed me. Hi!

ParticipantWow, two missed connections!
1.
Me: Crossing the 14th St bridge towards DC pulling the trailer in MC #2 below. Waited for no oncoming traffic before I passed which a warning. You: Two joggers running side by side. If yall had been running single file, the trailer wouldn’t have hit the fence startling yall.
2.
Me: Pissed off that I was pulling a trailer back home because this weekend the building engineers are closing the parking garage, where I was going to pick up my bike and trailer for the Arlington Fun Ride. I was going slow because I waited until it was clear on the CCT to passYou: Silent older ELITE who shouted “whoa!” when the trailer almost bumped you off the wrong side of the trail. You did apologize.

For those not racing – we went to this last year, and it’s a lot of fun. Very kid friendly. Plus the head organizer happens to be my team lead, and he informed me today that Dogfish Head is bringing 15 kegs of beer.
Free beer?

ParticipantOuch, sorry about your ticket.
