Erg. Thank you. This is all very helpful. Has anyone tried riding south from Memorial Bridge on Boundary Channel Drive and Long Bridge Drive… are they plowed? I’m looking for a good way to get down to Eads and onto S 4MR trail…. slicks only.
I’m also curious about taking Wakefield St northward from the WOD to Henderston Rd to Quincy St. to get back up to Custis later tonight. Is that the best alternative to the WOD? I dislike riding on George Mason Drive…. in prior years I used to do it pulling the kids in the trailer, and it was a bit unnerving…
Thx much! The circled part of the path is unplowed, but walkable. The rest is pretty clear.

ParticipantNPS plowed the connection from 14th St Bridge to the Jefferson. The 14th St Bridge and the MVT to the CCC had about 5-6 inches of powder.

Lots of pies sounds like a good start. How about banana bread with the amount of butter in the recipe doubled.
Yall are talking about a guy who is fueled by BK and DD. Pretty sure you gotta go to the opposite end of the spectrum with something like kale.

ParticipantLast night the GBT was large patches of thin ice and clear trail between them. Rode slowly on 35s. Some guy on a mtb passed me as he easily crunched through the ice. The trail is gonna be quite muddy when it thaws out which could be a bunch of fun.

I believe this would violate the rule against sandbagging. Discussions can be kept private, but rides cannot.
I don’t even know how to cheat properly

Participanthmmm, maybe we should mark all our rides private until the March 20th

ParticipantHate to be a Debby Downer, but it looks like the MTS leaderboard is wonky.

I think it is important to point out that, right now, at 11:16PM EST, our own Chris Randall is 6th in the Strava world for their January MTS challenge.
