Gum balls scattered all over the trail are pesky for all trail users, unless of course one can just jump over them!

Bataan Street NW — Named in 1961 to honor U.S. and Filipino troops captured on the Bataan Peninsula by the Japanese during WWII.During the Bataan Death March, April 1942, the soldiers were deprived of food, water, and medical attention, and were forced to march 65 miles to confinement camps throughout the Philippines. Approximately 10,000 men died. Of these men, 1,000 were American and 9,000 were Filipino.
