With the PAL trailer, I assume.
Nah. I’m actually gonna leave the trailer at home. It would suck to have to cut the evening short if the wind kicks up.

Ok, I plan to stop by the PAL party for a bit, so I probably see you there.
I’m going to stop by after the PAL party and put in 3 hours of laps.

It was nice to see you yesterday, dkel! Also nice to meet Peter, who stopped by to get a spoke replaced.

ParticipantLast night riding home I passed 4 cars on West street that were stuck and couldn’t make it up the hill. Studs will probably be a requirement for most roads and trails in the morning. Have fun!

ParticipantThe snow last night and this morning has made me decide to postpone this event by one day. For some folks, riding so soon after snow isn’t easy and this location isn’t very near a Metro station. I just wanted to keep safety in mind.
We will go Friday, 2/27/2015 from 4:30-6:30pm. I’m going to update the Facebook Event right now.
Thanks!
Pete

Is something wrong with Barton? (Ice covered or something?) Yes, there’s a hill, but it looks worse than it is.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong with Barton. I don’t normally use it, so I didn’t put that on my map. If you like Barton, go for it!

That would be Arlington County. My impression is that the trail was deemed “too new” and unused to warrant clearing.
If you don’t plow it, they won’t come?

Who has jurisdiction over the Route 50 trial as it winds around the north side of Joint Base Myer? Today it looked *no better* than the MVT (meaning ridable only with dedicated snow tires or a fat tire bike).
I reported it to the Arlington County Snow Issue link that Tim posted the other day. We’ll see if that process works.

ParticipantFor those coming from Rosslyn to the Block Party, here is the route. Ride With GPS Link
If you have studded tires on, you can just come up the Arlington Blvd Trail from the Iwo Jima Memorial.
Looking forward to seeing y’all tomorrow.

We’ll see how that turns out.
