On Monday, March 30, 1981, John Hinkley shot President Reagan at the Washington Hilton as the president emerged from his limousine. As a result of the assassination attempt, the Hilton constructed this special enclosed entrance to protect dignitaries when they visit the Hilton.

It is currently hidden at Pierce Mill as pictured in the photo. I put a piece of wood over it to hide it a little better. I’ll also post more photos on my ride that may help you find it.
Calvin Ball decided it wanted a better view and took a little hike. Can you spot its new location?

I figured that since diplomatic plates are issued by the State Department here in DC and not the country, they would count the same as a DC plate.
The plate from the farthest place I saw was this one from Washington state. The closest town in Washington is Clarkston (across the river from Lewiston ID), a mere 2,743 miles by bike according to Google
