Gotcha. Well thanks for sharing. I really like how you did it. I’ve run into a similar problem just using upright superstands to park my bikes in the apartment. The stays on the fender go too wide to fit thru, so I have to just lean my bike with fenders.

One thing you might be able to do is back the bike into the spot and then tilt it backward as far as you can before the fender contacts the ground, and hook the top of the front wheel from there. It won’t be as upright as the others, but make take up a little less space than just backing it in and leaving it flat on the ground. Just my two cents.

Latest project…basically it’s just 3/4″ pipe coupled together, and a pony clamp. I still have to finish the seat post clamp, which will be wood blocks with a seat post-shaped cutout and some padding, but my Dremel battery died….

Not my bike but a trip in the time machine.

This was a Sears and Roebuck roadbike parked on the street near the Ballston Mall. A mechanical speedometer!

Nice… I vaguely remember seeing these on one of my family’s used bikes. Better than the old bottle dynamos anyway.

I got my half-chromed frame back from the paint shop and decided to put my unemployment to good use. Other than the fancy:rolleyes: cartridge bottom bracket, the build is the same as before.

The load was bigger before I cinched down the yellow strap :D. The client said it was 30 pounds. I said “truck call”!
