Yep – she’ll be 11(!!!) this summer. (By now it’s probably almost 3 years since *most* people here have seen her – at the 2019 FS closing HH…)

2/21/2022 Bonus entry
This one is in a parking lot for Georgetown Day School at 42nd Street and Davenport NW. The artist, JF Coleman, has made it his work to help with the education of young Black students, whom he sees as overdiagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. This joyful mural expresses his hopes in that regard.

2/21 – Does it still count as public art if it serves as an invitation to pay for access to private art? Why did I not get my bike in frame (it’s to the right)? At 524 Rhode Island Ave NE (near metrobar) is the Van Gogh Immersive Experience. They’ve painted a large mural on the outside of the strip mall building (slated to be torn down as part of the redevelopment’s next phase).

This is the sculpture in oak park across from Washington liberty HS. It’s not the best sun angle, but I love how the door on this side feels like the entrance to a secret hideaway….like you’d need a secret password to get in

(You could always use some of Sunday’s miles, if that’s legal. I only got one pc of art Sunday in 27 miles – on the way out before the wind got too serious for me to even think about messing with my phone ….[emoji33][emoji100])

Anyhow this huge cat lives in someone’s ride in Lake Barcroft. I hadda walk up a private driveway to get this one & the dog was baking in the house sooooo I left my [emoji605] at the base with the rest of the riders
