I went here today to look for the ABMC WW2 memorial and found this instead. If it’s a war memorial is unlabeled – but it’s definitely art! Hard to get it at a good able with bike in it sooooo….

A mural of Josephine Butler, an activist who co-founded the DC Statehood Party. This is one of the 51st State mural series which I hadn’t seen. Easy to miss since it’s on a rooftop at the corner of Vermont and 11th St NW.
