You know that elephant sculpture Rod found in Arlington? I went to check it out and indeed it only looks like an elephant from one angle. It’s also an arch with a table under it!

2/3/2022 There was actually snow here last night and it was COLD riding. All of my cold weather riding gear is in Virginia (I didn’t think I’d be here this long). But I layered up, and went out in search of something new to post.

This is at a local public library. It’s actually a clever camouflage of a HVAC system, nicely incorporated into the rest of the architecture.

Here’s another relatively new public art installation in Reston. It’s located in a new condo development between Sunrise Valley Rd and the toll road.
