Alright I’ll bite. Since I can’t necessarily go for big miles this winter I may as well use this to accomplish a different goal. I’m probably the perfect candidate for this challenge.

    On 1/1 I weighed myself at 277.3

Goal is about 240 by June.

    Any other takers?

Sorry, I didn’t follow my normal holiday routine of gorging on fruitcake and malt liquor to properly sandbag this side bet.

I’ll join the fun, weighing in on 1/2 at 225 pounds.

I might live to regret this, but I just discovered that I picked up some holiday weight I need to lose. Weighing in at 149 on 1/2/14.

okay Jan1, 174 lbs, and I am only 5’4. I cannot believe I weigh this much but it is reality. I just keep telling myself muscle weighs more than fat. Yikes. need to be good this year. But I in. My goal is always 135 I have never reached that goal but it is there none the less.

    181 on 12/30.

Is it cheating to use a gym?

    Pro-tip: You can’t out-ride a crappy diet.

And just remember, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels! ;)

Wow, I inadvertently sandbagged this, what with November-December filled with travel, work, head injury and crappy diet (thanks for pointing that out, Tim). But I don’t actually know how much I weigh at the moment. We’ll see if I face the scale at home tonight or tomorrow. 😮

Well, heck, now I wish I’d waited to lose the weight I lost over the summer. I worked really hard! and no one even bought me a yummy pastry/cupcake/bacon-cheddar scone as a prize! But, ok, since ideally I’d like to lose a couple more still, I will throw myself into the hat for this. 123.6 on 12/31. My goal is 115, which will be challenging but theoretically possible by spring, and will be 7% if I can do it.

I’m just glad there’s someone out there that likes that stuff.

    (I’m referring to the fruitcake.)

    Doesn’t skinny feel hungry?

Do I get a pointless prize for maintaining my exact weight at the beginning?

I suppose this is a good day to start this competition. What with eating much too much of a turkey, plus some other odds and ends, yesterday, I started today at 210 lbs.
