7 PM, 12 January, Town Center Market

Fitness ride? No, it’s a fit’niss ride—gonna be fittin’ ‘iss here torta into my mouth.

Leaving TCM at 7ish, so get there early if you want to fill your growler or glass. Slowish roll north up the Trolley Trail to Taquiria Habanero, since I’ve been needing birria. After that? I dunno. Maybe Streetcar 82 or Denizens? Or something else entirely?

Leave the race wheels behind. Along with the spare food. Neither will be needed.

(And for the non-Murrlinders: TCM is located at the intersection of the Trolley Trail and Queensbury Road. That’s 4705 Queensbury if you have to tell your GPS)

*** Winter Bike to Work Day ***
    Friday, Feb 10th, 7-9AM

    4b14b221da33644db426f1a80788bbfd.jpg

It’s cold outside but that doesn’t mean you have to give up riding your bike. In fact, we want to encourage you to warm up to cold-weather biking on International Winter Bike to Work Day.

This year we [Bike Arlington] will have two morning pit stops–one at Gravelly Point on the Mount Vernon Trail and one on the Custis Trail in Rosslyn. No matter where you’re going (whether to work, school, errands, or a casual ride), stop by to say hello and grab some BikeArlington and Capital Bikeshare swag. We’ll also have free hot drinks and breakfast sandwiches from McDonald’s. First come, first served!

ATTENTION: NEW RIDE START LOCATION AND MEETUP TIMES! READ BELOW PLEASE…

This Sunday, 1/22, I’m leading a ride starting from Riverdale Park Train Station, going down to the Wilson Bridge, and back.

    Here’s the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41832078

I haven’t locked in a lunch spot yet, but I’m open to suggestions. I’m thinking somewhere in Crystal City area. (Is Tacombi decent? Taco points! :))a

Nobody left behind, but trying to keep a pace of 10-12 mph average.

I’m on Team 2 – Frozen Fietsen – but this is totes open to Freezing Saddlers and friends.

Make sure you have a good working bike, tools, and parts to fix a flat.

Feel free to join all or part of the ride, or just saying hi at Proteus or Philz.

It’s forecasted to rain around 1pm on Sunday, but hopefully it improves. If it’s ugly raining in the morning, I might postpone it, but I’ll post here if I do.
