    6/18/24 – COVER

I dropped my car at the mechanic to replace the driving belt. He wasn’t there…. But he told me to do this before we went on vacation a coupla weeks ago. I sure hope that COVERs  it – even though they didn’t let me make an appointment…. 🤔🤷🏻

My car is the blue one….

@nadine, the humans are likely to buy food and drinks, so Bark Social can make a profit that way. But dogs don’t saunter up to the counter and order a beer, so the only way to make a profit from them is to have an entry fee.

It is a fun place to go. If you go with your dog, the dog can run free and play with other dogs. If you go without a dog, there are lots of dogs to pet.

    6/19/24 TERSE

The wording on this sign was terse, but the meaning was unmistakable.

    6/20/24 SCENT

These disinfectant wipes advertise their scents.

    6/20/24 – scent

This is me, Joan, Míriam and Anne at the Belle Haven marina. We LOOK good, but 😆 I was pretty SCENTed when I got home after this warm ride 😁🤷🏻

    6/21/24 – PAINT

The paint pattern on this wooden gate has always reminded me of a child’s xylophone.

It clearly needs a repaint job – but do you know what I mean? Or was it just MY childhood xylophone? 🤔🤷🏻

    6/21/24 PAINT

This style of house is called a Painted Lady. Not as brightly colored as the ones in San Francisco, but definitely a lot of different paint colors. Amusingly, the Little Free Library in front of it (which I’ll put into my Strava) is painted in colors that match the house.

@nadine, I definitely remember those colors on xylophones.

    6/22/24 – EDICT

Well now I’m playing with a lawyer, so I’m pretty sure Carol is gonna see I’m fudging it here, but…..

I doubt either of these signs strictly count as EDICTs….. But they sure seem to be in that direction 😁🤷🏻

    6/23/24 BUGLE

Supposedly this place sells bugles. Unfortunately, there were no pictures of them on the outside, and I couldn’t get in to verify.

@nadine, since I didn’t make it out at all that day, I’m not in a position to complain about your “edict.” In my defense, the air conditioner had been out all day, and it was still pretty hot outside at the time I would normally leave, and I really didn’t want to risk heat stroke.

I’m sorry about your AC woes @Carol. It’s working now, right? I remember seeing (on fb probably 🤔) that it was had finally gotten fixed

    6/24/24 – DOLLY

Well I tried, but I really couldn’t get close enough to see if the li’l one in this carriage had a dolly. I kept thinking about how creeped  out the woman taking care of the baby might be, and I just couldn’t do it.

But there could totally be a DOLLY in the carriage with this baby….

    6/24/24 DOLLY

I went for a different sort of dolly.

@nadine, yes, it finally got fixed. But by the time it did, the house had heated up to the point that it took about 12 hours to cool down again.
