ParticipantAgh. Good luck. I used to drive those roads and don’t think they’re bike friendly. There’s an active Oxon hill bike club who may be able to help.

ParticipantI had a great talk with Colin @WABA who set this up. (I think it’s Colin). I think this I a great new ride and way to get newer folks or curious friends involved in the bike community. Esp. Because right now the price is $20 ( I think). Food music riding. I’m gonna invite some friends!

If the page says “out of stock,” does that mean registration has filled?
Looks like a great student/instructor ratio (10/3).
I think so but will check and get back to you.

Nothing broken, lots of hand bruising and a puncture wound where my hand hit the bolt for the v break. Pretty bad back muscle strain. Some minor cuts and bruises on my face. I think that face shield i made protected my face. My new wind jacket is now a vest. Could be worse.
Oh so sorry to hear this! Glad it’s not any worse. Hope you heal quickly and well. Take it easy!

On Jan 13th, riding in Woodbridge VA after the snow storm I fell 3 times on different roads. There were minor falls where I was going pretty slow and fell over into the snow on the road. Today (Jan 26th), riding in Michigan, on Michigan Day, I had my 2nd worse fall ever. It was after 30 miles of riding tensely and nervously on mostly untreated icy gravel, that I fell hard. I could feel it happening as the back tire slid out, so I tried to soften the blow by putting my arms out. Unfortunately, my hands only slipped on the ice and I still came down hard on my chest, knee and hip. My handlebar bike mirror was shattered and my chain came totally off. Other than the mirror, no permanent damage, I hope. Tomorrow I’ll know if my chest and wrists feel worse.
