On my journey to visit Mark Hemhauser, Chris Ross, and Jonathan Mirsky I found these devices at Chris’ abode. While Michel de Nostredame was known to be a low-life apothecary, which kept him out of university, I don’t think the microscope was invented until 1600, after his death. But pictured (you probably won’t be able to read it here because the Forum effs up my photos, but it’ll be on my Strava post too where the numbers will be clear) here is a PREDICTIVE device which is also a form of AI (mirrors human intelligence by compiling trends from data) using NUMBERS to forecast WEATHER. It compiles predictions from temperature, humidity, wind (not functional in this particular device currently – it needs to be remounted), and barometric pressure to give a weather prediction days in advance.
Where’s that asteroid Michel?

Miracle Theatre on 8th St. Again, inexplicably blurry, but you can clearly see the film “Groundhog Day” on my Strava post.

I saw a Walrus, a Panda, and a Spider-Man (Man-Spider?), but I didn’t see anything groundhog related until relaxing at my final destination.

Participant1/28/2022 Bike Way, South Capitol Trail
This is all I could find on the trail. Strange. It doesn’t link well with trails at either end, which is unfortunate, but it’s nice and has the potential to connect. I’d kind of prefer a trail that runs along Joint Base Anacostia Bolling and actually connects to the already existing Oxon Hill Farm trail which avoids the horrid strip mall on South Capitol/Indian Head Highway, but there are ways to get to the Oxon Hill trail (see photos on my ride) and then along aforementioned strip mall, just not great ways. Even if you use the service road it’s crappy at intersections that aren’t made to go straight.
So, I think it’s called the South Capitol Trail, but without much coverage WHO the hell knows *♂️?

PS Mead is really strong after a long, cold ride!
Also, link to a horrendous VA Bill we need to stop.
IMPORTANT: SB362 will hurt cyclist safety in Virginia. Send a message to your senator and let’s find out who sponsored this travesty and vote them out!

Once again, frozen fingers and one pixel sized links do not = “dislike”. The new potential trail/park 🌅
