ParticipantSeems to be resolved. Thanks if somebody fixed something. Would delete this thread if I knew how.

ParticipantSorry I can’t make that Karen, sounds fun! Up for any team rides on most Fridays or Saturdays. Some exceptions, I have three more lift tickets I must use. Skiing was fun yesterday but my new boots suck. I did manage 10 miles before leaving for Whitetail. Will get caught up on logging my rides when I get home to connect my Garmin to computer.

ParticipantI work on Sundays or else I would love to ride out to Reston for some public art finding! Karen, have we met? Maybe on a ride to Lake Artemesia with Lynn Salvo. There was a lady from Reston on that ride.

ParticipantI know it sounds glamorous but being a field bike mechanic wasn’t actually all that much fun yesterday. I’m taking today off (from work) for a questionable reason, hopefully can get some miles later. Tomorrow going skiing. Cover for me or meetup at Whitetail! Keep up the good work, you all are doing great!

ParticipantPart of a mural depicting a fantasy underground scene. Notice the roots line up with trees and bushes above the mural. Not shown, a mother opening a basement door into this realm to let her two kids enter it. Also a child feeding a carrot to a large mole who is blissfully lounging on his back in the child’s lap.

ParticipantThis painted iron triptych of characters from Don Quixote used to be in an alley less than a block from my house. Impossible to get a good view of all three at the same time. I probably should have taken the picture from a vantage point to my left giving you a better view of Sancho Panza and leaving Dulcinea to the imagination as did Cervantes.

ParticipantI’ve learned a lot from researching art that I’ve photographed for this thread!
“…Hotel Zena, a bold new cultural hub celebrating the accomplishments of women and recognizing their enduring struggle for gender equality. It’s an interactive venue where every architectural line, material and art installation was thoughtfully designed and curated to send a message of female empowerment.”
Who knew? Although I did get the message of female empowerment from this mural by Miss Chelove without having to read that!

ParticipantI love the way the gravitational force of this object is pulling the nearby buildings in.
