    No.

And regarding the transport issue. Easy. Simply wear it as a backpack.

When shifting feels like you are pulling an anchor through a slurry of sand and oil, it is probably time to change the cables.

I love the idea of lasers on bicycles, but these seem to do nothing in terms of “ninja elimination or negation.” Pass.

I just pretend that I’m a superhero using the darkness to better prey on my malcontents, kind of like this Batman I hear so much about. Given the spandex and affinity for gadgets, I’m just one six pack and a cowel away from being in a Marvel money making scheme.

Many thanks for the light assistance last night. I had some blinkies running, but my main light went kaput crossing the Memorial Bridge. I love it when a good plan comes together.

Thanks for all these trail reports. I took it easy on the Custis – although I still overtook someone going downhill around the S-curve of death… :)

And then when crossing Lynn St I had a nice lady obliviously blocking the intersection (and car traffic as well) while chatting on a cell phone. The cyclist behind me vocalized my thoughts for me.

There is a crapton of Autumnal Ice on ye’old S-Curve of Doom, almost ate it twice this morning going maybe 3mph, Fluffy KITTENS!

I do feel more intelligent on my bike, that is until I slip on a single wet leaf whilst rocking my Look cleats and eat it in front of a tour group while trying to get around a tree pruning truck, yeah, otherwise I’m an Elite Genius.

    Diskbusicuit – Chinese Whispers!

Anyways, I’m fine with drafting and providing drafts. On a separate note, I have never understood the rear view mirror people out there. Worry about what is in front of you!

You: Dude cranking it on the W&OD trail this morning at around 7:50ish.

Passing on Van Buren is cool, some of us stop at the stop sign, some of us don’t, but please try to avoid doing so right next to the trail junction and certainly not while there is an SUV bearing down from the other direction. The funny thing is that you seemed put out that I drafted off of you until the Custis trail junction – if you speed past, and it is Thursday, I’m going to draft off of you.

I killed a squirrel down by the reflecting pool….in front of an elementary school tour group. I felt like Stalin.

Bumps and bruises go away. Went through there this morning at about 8:20 and almost got taken out by an Audi running the light down Lynn – I even did the three second wait after the walk sign lit up!

I love the hell out of my Seagull bag, but they aren’t cheap and are made but of bunch of pretentious, talented jerks up in Ohio. There are certainly cheaper options out there as well. As for bike racks. Given the flex in your rear triangle, you are probably looking at a seatpost-mounted rack, which are generally limited in terms of carrying capacity.
