It won’t save you from having to go commando from the showers to your desk, but at least you won’t have to spend all day like that.

I hit the pavement pretty hard right after the castle hill on the W&OD. I tried my best to dress my wounds as cyclist after cyclist passed me by without any attempt to see if I was OK. Only 1 out of more than 30 riders asked if I needed help while I sat there bleeding on the side of the road. Americancyclo was awesome… he spotted me and stopped to see if I was OK, which now knowing he was on the tail end of a century is even more respectful! He accompanied me for a few miles before I headed on my way to meet my wife at Liberty tavern. I feel stupid and sore….but no broken bones or bicycle parts….. the beers at the tavern helped, and then Baiskeli stopped in and had a beer with us as well…. so not a bad way to end a crap day.
I just can’t believe that no one has pointed you toward Rule #5 yet. Slackers everywhere.

Any idea on the pricing? I wasn’t super impressed by the FB Sugoi kit, but I would seriously consider the Assos stuff, especially if it’s a little cheaper than the regular Assos jerseys.
Ibex is on sale right now. Just sayin’.

Like most of you I took the long way in and saw Mr. & Mrs. Dickie too, they’re rock stars.
Then I ran into Bilsko and finally got to check out his new bike, love it and jealous.btw Tom: the outbound headwind we fought last night was an inbound headwind this morning, figures.
I like the Cinelli. The headwinds not so much, though on some level I’m sure I deserved it.
