Although the weather was frightful, the ride was so delightful. We got snowed on, we endured light rain & sleet, but road and trail conditions were fine. The doughnuts were delicious, too.

The donut ride is on! I’ve just done a quick test ride on untreated streets and asphalt pathways within a mile of the first stop and although there is snow on the ground and a dusting on the trails conditions are OK.

We are investigating the issue. It might be that we are not getting all the segments as expected, and might need to adjust our sync strategy some.

Now all the teams are showing on the leaderboard, and every team has a thread with a link to the club so it is up to the team members to join the competition teams, and the team captains to encourage people who haven’t joined to get into gear, as on Sunday we start pulling from the waitlist, and pushing folks assigned to teams who haven’t joined their Strava team back onto the waitlist.

I have put Team 25 in The Offficial List on the server, it should all sync up by 8 PM and folks will show on the leaderboards again.

I think I made a copy and paste mistake this morning. I put the team list in from my cell phone just after I woke up and I was still groggy. We have 23/26 teams now.

Go through https://freezingsaddles.org/authorize and you will show up here: https://freezingsaddles.org/people/friends

You have to be a member of the main club and authorize Strava to read your rides to get on that page.

Yeah, we really need to get that Strava team ID, none of the people on team 18 will show on any of the leaderboards until we get it.

This will settle out as everyone joins their Freezing Saddles official teams. Until you join the Strava team and the site syncs, it will not show you on the individual leaderboard anymore. Join your team and give it an hour and all will be well.

Also we are missing the team IDs for teams 13, 18, 21, and 25 so those team captains should drop me or jrenaut a note. I’ll see if I can find the IDs from forum posts too.
