The team leaderboards are up!
If you don’t see yourself on the individual or team leaderboard, follow these steps:
- Check your email for a message from your team captain
- Join the Strava team as instructed
- Wait an hour before checking the Freezing Saddles web site – we re-sync the teams every hour
If you don’t see your team on the board, it means that either the team captains haven’t communicated the club ID to the technology team (jreneaut is leading collection of these this year), or it hasn’t made its way to the web site yet. You won’t show on the individual leaderboard now unless you join your new team!

I had made up a team well in advance and the club id was provided asap, and as of last night we had 6 members. (Team 22)
I’m sure things will eventually get fixed, so I’m no too worried.

The only “issue” with having your team on Strava public is that it’s possible for non-team members to join your club (even people who aren’t playing Freezing Saddles). So they’ll appear on the leaderboard for your team (we have one such person on our team). That’s fine in the interim. But once you have all the right people on your Strava team, you need to make it private and delete anyone who isn’t supposed to be on your team.

I figured that might be the case!! Maybe one of these years I’ll wise up and take the hint after having problems trying to register, too.
