That sounds like my “strategy.” I had hormone sensitive breast cancer in 08 and apparently keeping excess weight to a bare minimum is important for avoiding recurrence because [emoji2358] fat contains estrogen.

I thought of a flag picture too, since I have a yellow helmet. Realized as I was getting ready to go that actually it couldabin any 2 of the colors, because between me and my bike we were wearing all of them already!

1/31/21 – henri desgrange subanagram

I really wanted “readings.” There was a psychic I was gonna look for a pic of with “readings” in its name…. But then I got on the Jamis with the knobby 33s and remembered I hadn’t tested out the salmon brake pads yet. So…..They slowed the bike down, which was a huge improvement over the previous brake pads, which DIDN’T, when they were wet …. These too work fine when they’re dry.

Sigh…. Not the best brakes for a snow bike. Anyhow I didn’t feel safe riding in the road with it so I settled for something closer.

1/31 – skate park /skateboarder

Well no wonder the skater dudes at Powhatan Springs looked so nonplussed at my standing there with my bike taking pictures – clearly I was at least the 4th one there today! [emoji38]

This guy really tried, but I don’t think he got off the ground. I did get this cool shadow pic though. (My bike is in the original picture, but I wanted to post a zoomed in version, so the bike isn’t visible here.)

1/29 – mercedes Benz

There were boatloads of benzes where I rode today (cabin John /Potomac) but they were ALL black or gray…. so [emoji1744]

This was the first one we saw, waaaay inside sometimes huge yard. I wouldn’t even have been able to make out the insignia from the road, but Anne did. [emoji16][emoji1360]

And fwiw I didn’t see any green ones either…. I vote Casey gets da points.

I found an accordioneur style tunnel too – and actually this one is probably closer to his house than the one he posted [emoji38]

This is a water tunnel under the w&od and I -66 just nw of the pedestrian overpass & “Anne’s wormhole,” a dirt path from the w&od into the Madison Manor neighborhood.

Picking my best one was tough this time. Most artistic was of the tunnel that extends from the bus bay at Bethesda Metro to the shops on the other side of Wisconsin Avenue (although the homeless guy who was sleeping in the entrance to that one got up and questioned me about why I was taking pictures of the tunnel, and none of my explanations seemed to make any sense to him).
