Do I have to stop riding by midnight Kyiv time, or EST which would be 7 am Kyiv time. Note I started the process at midnight EST at Hains Point, so in fairness to my team I should get to ride until you all stop riding at Hains Point (assuming I can stay up all night).
Actually you will have to stop riding by Midnight Eastern Daylight Time – an hour earlier. (Not sure if Kyiv follows DST).

ParticipantWhen I used to ride the VRE I would see this – it connects a parking lot on the east side of the tracks with Crystal Drive on the west. At the end of the parking lot is a lot of maintenance equipment. I’m not sure but I think there are some fences there as well. Someone may need to reconnoiter.

Participant@Terpfan I would assume that JBAB’s policy is the same as Fort Myers, since they are similar instillations, but I would think that their entrances policy would be even tighter since there are more sensitive commands there vice Fort Myers, and they are not as used to seeing bikes ride through their command. I can ask next time I’m going through the gate there.

ParticipantWhat you could probably do is determine the baseline average speed for that stretch of path, road, etc, then track the last 24 hrs departure from baseline. And then color code kind of like the traffic widget on google maps. i.e. Blue – faster than normal. Green 0-5% slower Yellow 5-10% slower, or something like that.

ParticipantI like that they make their interns don the pieriod clothing.

Participant+1 for the bathtub. May be a very slow leak and could just look like a bubble stuck to the tube instead of a stream of bubbles. If you can’t feel the foreign material it could be glass. It likes to hide in the rubber and only come out when under strain or pressure, you would need to flex the tire between your fingers and feel for hard knots , then look for a very small cut on the surface. Happy hunting!

ParticipantWow! sorry to hear that Dickie, I bet it looked freaking hilarious to everyone but you!

Ok, I’ve announced mine now. It might be more of a sidebet (what’s the difference?).
http://bikearlingtonforum.com/showthread.php?9849-vvill-s-N-1-Pointless-PrizeA pointless prize is a specific amplifier to riding usually occurring over the entire contest period, and open to anyone (usually individuals, not teams).
A side bet is short-term (set start and end) for teams, or individuals acting as one team to promote additional riding. Usually riding to a specific point, photographing a specific item, etc. People may win pointless prizes without even trying, but a side bet requires a positive action to claim that the prize has been won.
Maybe? This would be a pointless prize although It could also be a side bet if the challenge were put up to teams to provide most bikes during a specific ride period.Mikey
