ParticipantNo # needed. Just ride!
We use #s for side games like you noted.

ParticipantThis game is getting serious. Rules are meant to be broken, brake that fence and go for a swim.

ParticipantWormhole is strong, the name is strong, and the description is strong.
BentBike might be bending light with the miles he rides and wormhole discoveries.
Well played.

ParticipantChad, did you create a separate thread where folks can post their photos?
Collected the Northern Stone.

Can you spare some change?LuisFilipe
ParticipantLOTM, dropping some serious what knowledge.
I hereby bestow unto you the title of Custos Scientiae and grant you a point in the wormhole of games.
Yes technically the game hasn’t started, but by being a wormhole game it has.
Ride on.

ParticipantWoh,
The pull was strong on this thread, so strong that we went too far into the future that we are now back to the future? Either way, second time writing this post as there was a Matrix/wormhole effect as I hit send on the reply that negated everything I wrote.THE WINNERS ARE!
BOOMER AND BIKENICK
Boomer had solid lead, but nick nicked it way to tie it towards the end along with the help of his infamous E/G/sCapitol parking lot SW (3-way wormhole). Look it up. The pull of that Wormhole was so strong that forced the OG of Holes SteveO to ride it and lose his bearings.
SteveO also wins for the dumbest/craziest Wormhole: The universe’s most inadvisable wormhole. Sure Steve let’s ride on 395, at night, pass the Pentagon, What could go wrong?
NOTHING, as you are a winner!I will be sponsoring this prize again this year and will create a new thread. I also hope that the #FSwormhole can be counted on the leaderboard, but we will also use the thread to post picture to explain the WH as they can be crazy as SteveO can attest to.
Ride on you invertebrates.

Claiming extra points along with @BikeDavid who joined me to experience the “sweaty tacos” of Mezcalero (which turned out to be next door to the Habanero!:-0)
So “sweaty” tacos are not on the menu…you need to ask for the “tacos de canasta” which has them along with their special green sauce w/ chunks of avocado and cilantro m. The tortillas are sautéed in their own sauce (and hence, “sweaty”), and slightly crunchy. They appear mild at first bite, but pack a punch once fully developed on your palate…and if you hit a hot [emoji3062] pepper seed!
We also ordered “tacos aztecas” because they had nopal cactus [emoji266] ears in them, and their own dark chili [emoji892] sauce … which made us sweat, hijole!

Belatedly adding here a couple of very “specific to me” wormholes. Not sure how useful they would be to most, but here goes.
1. The St. Paul’s wormhole (https://www.strava.com/activities/3083628809) – this shortcut connects 7th NE with 4th NE while avoiding Franklin and Monroe. Coming from the east, from 7th NE, go west on Jackson.

Ignore the “No Outlet” sign and continue west as the street becomes Regent. Go up the hill, and then sneak between the parked cars and planters to get to the parking lot. At the other end of the parking lot is a stone path. Go on that, turn right, down the paved path/hill, and exit the fence on 4th. This is the “upper” path on the map; you also could follow the driveway to exit 4th a bit further south and with a curb cut as shown on the “lower” path on the map.

2. The Brentwood Giant wormhole (https://www.strava.com/activities/3083048324) – this series of shortcuts/paths connects the MBT with Brentwood Road, cutting off a little bit of distance between Edgewood/RIA and Ivy City/Union Market and also avoiding Franklin and the crazy part of the 12th/Brentwood transition, as well as some of the Home Depot/Giant parking lot madness and elevation changes. This one is a rather obvious “wormhole” in that Google Maps now has it in its arsenal but that wasn’t always the case.

From the MBT, take the pedestrian/bike bridge over the train tracks at the Rhode Island Avenue Metro. Turn right towards the garage, and then get on the sidewalk to find the ramp up to the shopping center parking lot. From the top of the ramp, go to the right behind the stores to cut through to Brentwood NE.
Great ones!!!

Here’s a map of the wormhole. The route to the right is the usual ART; the circled section is the wormhole.
I knew it was there but never explored it. So it’s either glass or dirt. Is it faster than going the normal route?

This may not be at all what LuisFilipe meant by sweaty tacos, but I have just learned that there is a type of taco called tacos sudados, or sweated/sweaty tacos. Why has no one told me of these before?
