ParticipantAll clear this morning down from the IOD, along the MVT through Roosevelt. Trollheim looked like it had some slush on it at the intersection, but the Roosevelt bridge was just fine.

ParticipantI think a lot of people is coincidence. My reign of terror was inevitably going to come to a pause as I prepare for a trip to Japan. I’ve been trying to juggle reworking my sleep schedule around my normal job, which hasn’t left much time for riding.
Next week will be the time to really cash in on my absence while I go Frozémon hunting in Tokyo

Despite this I am so there, and ride marshalling! (Nothing helps with jet-lag like forcing yourself to spend the day outside on the local schedule). As such, I am a maybe on the pancakes.
So long as I’m not falling asleep by that point, I’m looking forward to the museum visit. Can there be an informal meal/beer afterward?

ParticipantFWIW, I am a fan of the randomization of what the next item is.
This is for 2 reasons: 1. Keeping the list up allows for necessary research (I was straight-up not alive for some of these events), but this makes it impossible to predict the next item, and this chain -claim. 2. This allows Tim the Enchanter to have greater control in a manner of good own ideom.

For the record, I rode to the Wilson building first for the Hanafi seige, but it was too cold to upload from there. I did visit Jefferson hotel from there just in case someone scooped the seige first (as you did).
Because I don’t know if someone will upload and change the objective while I’m out, I fully admit to looking ahead at the list, doing the necessary research, and then taking photos before they are announced as “in play.” My interpretation of the rules was that was okay under RCannon’s ruling.
The only reason I put up the Jefferson and not the Wilson building was fact that the discussion reminded me that we can have more than one photo up until a photo reaches the requisite number of votes.
Long story short, I don’t want special consideration or dispensation.
If doing advance work, short of posting, prior to an item being in play is invalid, I won’t do it again. Otherwise, seeing as multiple pics can go up for each item, I’ll do the research and take photos when I can, as I am trying to fit this into my commute/errandneuring.
