It was an obscure reference to a website in the late 90s/early 00s called Beaterz. It was dedicated to lame attempts to make cheap compact cars all Fast and Furious looking. The on going joke was yellow equaled performance since many of the cars had add on parts that were yellow.

A nicer handle, costs more (yeah, I am a sucker), and hopefully better quality. I just wish it was available in yellow for performance sake.

I’ve been commuting on the CCT once or twice a week for the past two years. It is a great trail. Why did I Metro->CaBi this morning instead of just riding in?

Sometimes I wonder if my hearing is going and I missed the call when someone silently passes me. Turns out my hearing is fine and laryngitis is epidemic. Been taking the kids out riding and walking on the Georgetown Branch Trail the past couple of weekends and I feel like my head is constantly swiveling around.

Startling someone is better than not calling a pass IMHO.

We went last year to the races in Clarendon and didn’t see or hear many cowbells. I ended up ordering a coupla Speeco sport cowbells from Amazon.
