I’ve always wanted to just ride my bike .. its taken me a bit to get the nerve and just do it .. and that there isn’t any ‘right way’
I’m hoping to learn more about bikes, riding and a ton of other things .. my goal is to use the bike all over .. there is NO way that I would be able to commute back and forth to work while doing the pet/house sitting .. but I’m working on it .. the photography work that I do .. means if I’m going to ride my bike .. planning is involved .. that too can be adjusted .. I just need to figure it all out .. 😁 .. the stronger I become .. in biking and confidence I think that the rest will fall into place. 😊

Hey All,
Jae here .. I live in the West End of Alexandria, though I do pet/house sitting and am often staying all over the place ..
Mostly .. Bluemont, Fair Oaks, Tysons/McLean are the most frequent ..

I work in Tysons/McLean as an event photographer [and other odds and ends 😁]

This is my 1st time doing the Freezing Saddles .. and this past year was the most that I’ve ridden my bike .. It’s been a goal of mine to be able to ride after spinal surgery .. so I’m SUPER happy about that ..

I’m looking forward to this challenge, learning and meeting you guys!
I’ll try to upload a photo .. I’m not often in front of the camera .. soooo ..

Does this count as a ‘county line’ sign?
I haven’t found one as of yet .. do they all look the same?
I was thinking this is more ‘Welcome’ sign .. but there is nothing around the area [sidewalks and such that even look like the one that was posted earlier] ..
